Violet Crown Cinema is a 12,500 SF movie theater and restaurant on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. Martin Horn renovated the existing Regal Cinemas into a two-story movie theater. By adding a second level to the space we were able to create a theater with ten screens, snack bar, two full size bars, a restaurant, and a commercial kitchen. Each seat in the theaters are customized with fold out tables for patrons to enjoy food while watching a movie.
