This week we installed the West Portico columns at Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. The 4 wooden columns are an iconic and historic part of the house. Each column was carefully aligned within the West Portico structure above, which was restored earlier this summer. Approximately 20% of the exterior cornice and dental molding around the house has been restored as well. On the inside, we’ve finished the demolition and shored up the floors on each level of the house. With the structural elements addressed, our field team is framing new walls and electrical and plumbing rough-ins have started.

We’ve got this restoration tracking on schedule and the erection of the west portico columns is a major milestone for the project.
