Martin Horn is proud to be a part of an exciting project for a local nonprofit that supports people living with autism in the Charlottesville community. We are renovating the Virginia Institute of Autism facility and will be expanding it in the spring. This newer, larger facility will house high school and adult programs in an effort to develop strong independent living skills.

The Virginia Institute of Autism is dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of autism through innovative, evidence-based programs in education, outreach, and adult services. They have dedicated staff who are committed to improving the lives of people with autism. They provide them with education on cooking, cleaning, vocational skills, and social skills that will help them transition into adulthood and provide community connection for people with autism in Charlottesville.

The expansion and renovation that Martin Horn is working towards, will allow VIA to nearly double its impact and reach more people with their services. We as a team are proud to be a part of this project and contribute to a local community organization that has such an inspiring mission. In recent coverage from NBC29, you can learn more about the impact this project is making for families in the community. Watch the video to see the action happening on-site.

VIA will be hosting a virtual fundraiser on October 24th. Check out their website for more information.
