This is the first LEED-NC project completed for the University of Virginia, and has achieved Silver certification. The project was a one-story 15,000 sf addition to the existing printing services building. The scope of work included: Design Build MEP services, LEED management and implementation, selective demolition, site work, underground utilities, CIP footings, masonry, structural steel, insulated core panels, translucent wall panels and skylights, a TPO white roof system, loading dock equipment, ADA shower room and baths, stand alone HVAC and building automation.
