Thomas Jefferson Library at Kenwood

Monticello selected Martin Horn as the contractor for this first freestanding presidential library, a state-of-the-art facility that included the latest in information technology housed in one of the finest finished spaces in central Virginia. Martin Horn worked closely with the architect to provide design phase services for the year leading up to construction, and provided five estimates from initial budget to final GMP, as well as value engineering suggestions. The project came in under the GMP and the quality of the project prompted lead architect Warren Cox to call Martin Horn, “the best contractor I’ve ever worked with.”
