Martin Horn’s performance in the fast track construction of UVA’s new Baseball Stadium was exceptional.  This new $5 Million facility was simply an idea in mid June 2001 with a desired completion before the next season’s opener in mid February 2002.  Acting as a Construction Manager through design and construction Martin Horn, with exemplary professional competence and integrity, partnered with the UVA and VMDO (UVA’s designer) allowing early release, pricing and construction of phased packages achieving the desired completion 8 months after design start without sacrifice of quality or price.  In fact this facility received the Central VA AIA Merit award for design in 2003.
