Martin Horn has began demolition at the JAUNT facility in Charlottesville. The 85 vehicle fleet of Blue and Red buses, chauffeur residents in 8 counties around central Virginia. The JAUNT fleet makes a combined 300,000 trips each year! The required storage and service of these buses has mandated the expansion of their four-bay repair maintenance facility. This expansion focuses on increasing square footage of the garage, while adding a new break room and office space. Furthermore, ADA compliant offices are replacing expendable square feet on the second floor and a new storage structure is adding shelter for more vehicles.

We are making consistent progress with demolition on the interior and have began hanging drywall on the second floor. The rain has slowed our progress on the exterior however, we’ve been preparing the site for the moment this weather improves!
