On April 18, 2017, the University of Virginia hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Clemons Library solar roof project, done by Martin Horn. Governor Terry McAuliffe thanked Martin Horn and Sun Tribe Solar for supporting sustainability through their involvement. Multiple media outlets and elected officials attended the event. The ceremony was part of the UVa Earth Week Expo in Newcomb Hall.
