CareTeam Corporate Health Renovation

A new medical practice is coming to River Road. CareTeam Corporate Health Charlottesville offers affordable, easy-access healthcare personalized to their clients. The group will be leasing a space currently owned by S.L Williamson Company, Inc., but not before the space is converted to meet their needs.

Martin Horn Project Manager, Barbara Regester is leading the project. The 1,750 SF renovation began with the demolition of the interior space and reconfiguring the floor plan into a functioning layout. In an effort to expand the second level and bring in more light to the space, the chimney was removed and the roof was re-pitched. Additionally, all the windows have been replaced and high-end finishes were installed throughout the space.

The newly designed first floor has three exam rooms, a welcoming lobby, a triage lab, and ample storage for the clinic’s plan to provide low-cost medication to its clients. Upstairs is a yoga studio, newly built restroom, and office space. The project is coming to a close as the crew completes final touch-ups.

 Williamson Medical Clinic will be a great asset to the people in the community. Blair Williamson had a vision, and is making it come to life. She has been very involved in this project, putting her boundless energy and design touches into everything that Martin Horn has installed. It is a beautiful and unique place unlike any clinic I have worked on in the past. Blair has been a true pleasure to work with, and our team really enjoys talking through things with her to understand her vision and help her make it come to life.
