Canterbury Cottage Renovation

Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge offers a variety of living arrangements for independent retirees. One such arrangement includes a comfortable cottage that can be customized prior to move-in. Recently, one of the Jefferson Cottages became available and Martin Horn was asked to renovate it. The 1,375 SF residence is being converted from a 2-bedroom, 1-bath into a 2-bedroom, 2-bath with handicap accessibility. To make the space more functional, the existing sun porch was demolished and old appliances were removed. Additional improvements include new plumbing, new light fixtures and new finishes. Soon, the cottage will be a clean, “White Box” waiting to be personalized.

Project completion is expected in early September.
