The Venable Court Apartments was the first job completed under Charlottesville's new high-density zoning district. Martin Horn built the 82,000 square foot structure on a tight site, surrounded by homes and within 10 feet of Venable Elementary School. The owner chose Martin Horn because of our experience in building apartments. They were not developers, but trusted us to make sure they got a rentable, low maintenance building completed by the time students returned for fall classes.
