Cost:
$2.4 million
Total Duration: 180 Days
In 2006 we were contracted to renovate Region Ten's administrative offices through a competitive bid. Over the next two years
they asked us to also renovate their Wellness Center and Cafetorium. The Administrative Offices' site and storm water
management issues called for retention ponds, relocating sewer and storm drains, retaining walls, cast-in-place
steps and walkways, and an asphalt package that tied into an existing parking lot.
Renovating the Wellness Center required gutting an old building, relocating bearing walls and replacing
a sprinkler system in occupied areas. We upgraded the Cafetorium with new technology and amenities to
accommodate its multiple uses as a meeting and training room, auditorium, cafeteria, and banquet hall. With
meticulous management and close client communication we overcame the unusual challenges of these difficult jobs,
and completed them on schedule and within budget.
