Completion: August 2000; scoreboard was September 1997

Martin Horn has carried out more than $10 million in specialized construction projects at UVa's state-of-the art football stadium, Scott Stadium, in the Carl Smith Center. These include the scoreboard, President's Box, and Press Box—all technically challenging jobs. The scoreboard, erected under time pressure before the first game of the 1998 season, sits on a 100-foot high steel tower and includes a giant video screen and sound system. The President's and Press Boxes were both constructed as part of a major stadium expansion. They were built within the upper deck of the old stadium, where it was impossible to use a crane. Martin Horn also finished the stadium's more than 40 beautiful luxury suites.
