Jefferson Scholars Center for Graduate Studies

The Jefferson Scholars Foundation needed a new home for their Graduate Fellows, so Martin Horn built this expansive project with local architects VMDO.  Martin Horn worked extensively with the owner and architect during pre-construction and performed nearly a dozen value engineering exercises. There are three main buildings surrounding a central courtyard. One building includes a spacious commons, lounge and full kitchen; another houses student offices, reading rooms, and seminar rooms; and the third is mainly administrative with a small conference room. This project earned LEED-Gold.
